Master of Education (TESOL International) for 2009

Course overview

This program is designed to meet the needs of teachers or prospective teachers from overseas who are qualified and who do not wish to teach in Australia. For local students who do wish to have the option of also teaching in Australia, it would be an alternative to the Master of Education (TESOL) if the advanced practicum (with field placement) were taken and the applicant were deemed already qualified as a teacher (as per local requirements). Exit points: Students may exit the program after successful completion of four units with a Postgraduate Diploma of Education, or after two units with a postgraduate certificate.
