This double degree offers students the opportunity to simultaneously complete a Bachelor of Business and Commerce and a Bachelor of Sport and Outdoor Recreation. The course encourages the development of confident and competent professionals, combining knowledge and skills from the fields of business, sport and outdoor recreation. Students undertake six core units within the Bachelor of Business and Commerce degree and complete a major and minor sequence. Core business and commerce units include business statistics, marketing theory and practice, managing people and organisations, introductory microeconomics, introductory accounting and business law. The major sequence can be selected from accounting, economics, marketing, management, business law, electronic commerce, international business, human resource management and sports management. In addition to the core units in sport and outdoor recreation, students complete electives including lifespan physical activity, nutrition, fitness and conditioning, wilderness expedition, camp planning, and advanced outdoor recreation practice. Students are required to take an extra unit in the third and fourth year of the course.
