Honours graduates have special expertise valued by employers and therefore have a competitive advantage in the job market. The honours year also prepares students to undertake higher degrees by research MPhil, PhD.

Applicants need to have attained a minimum average grade of 65 per cent in the final two years of their bachelor's degree in the relevant discipline to be considered.
IELTS 6.5 no band lower than 6.0; TOEFL 550 with a TWE of 4.5; or an internet-based TEOFL score of at least 79 with 21 in writing, 18 in speaking, 13 in reading and 12 in listening.
