Master of Applied Japanese Linguistics for 2010

Course overview

The course is designed for current or prospective secondary or tertiary teachers of Japanese wishing to update their theoretical and practical knowledge of Japanese language and its use, and language teaching and acquisition. Students further their understanding of second and foreign language acquisition, language teaching, language contact and intercultural communication with particular reference to Japanese. They also develop skills in critical reading and the ability to design a research project.
