The Master of Wound Care prepares the candidate for specialisation in the field of wound care. In some instances, graduates are entitled to extra salary increments and allowances.
The Master of Wound Care prepares the health professional for advanced practice in wound care. The masters program consolidates the theoretical and practical skills acquired in the Graduate Diploma in Wound Care and extends the student's clinical reasoning skills in the critical appraisal of contemporary wound care practices. Students undertake a clinical project which explores the evidential basis for current practice and potential improvement of a complex wound care problem in the student's work place or within a healthcare setting.
