Graduate Certificate in Health Services Management for 2009

Course overview

This course is for health professionals who wish to expand their knowledge and skills in the management of health services. It provides core competencies in health services management, including leadership, human resource and financial management of health services. The course can lead to the Graduate Diploma in Health Services Management and then the Master of Health Services Management or the Master of Public Health. The course comprises two core and two elective units. Core studies cover clinical leadership and management and financial issues in health care management. Electives offered include epidemiology and biostatistics, Law for health systems, principles of health care quality improvement.
