Course overviewYour Monash law degree will be a valuable commodity, providing a springboard for a wide range of careers in legal practice and other less traditional career pathways. The Monash law degree will teach you the concepts, procedures and reasoning surrounding the Australian legal system, as well as a range of universal skills such as problem solving, presentation techniques and analytical skills. Throughout your law degree you will undertake a number of compulsory units including criminal law, administrative law, property law and torts. You are also able to choose several elective units allowing you to focus on a specific area of law, or undertake units from different legal disciplines so you can gain a broad understanding of issues across the legal spectrum.
