This four-unit course is designed to provide those in the health care industry with knowledge and skills in the principles of health economics and their application to health care policy and education.The economic analysis of developments in the health care sector is of interest to those involved in the production, use, delivery and regulation of health care programs and interventions.Studies include an introduction to health economics, economic evaluation in health care, and an introduction to microeconomic theory and policy, as well as a range of electives.
