This course provides general practitioners with the opportunity to 'master' their clinical and teaching skills within a general practice setting. Medical practitioners commencing this course must have previously completed course requirements for the Graduate Diploma in Family Medicine. Studies, including learning and teaching methods along with clinical skills, are completed by coursework.
Graduates of this program may go on to educating health professionals, clinical practice or research.

Applicants must have a minimum of two years postgraduate experience and be currently registered by the medical board in their respective state, or have a qualification which is eligible to be registered in a state of the Commonwealth. Preference will be given to applicants currently employed and who have been active in general practice for a minimum of two years.
