The Monash Master of Education is an excellent choice for teachers and other educators, educational administrators, managers and policymakers, and others interested or involved in learning and development. Please note, this course does not provide a recognised initial teaching qualification. Students seeking an initial teaching qualification should visit the faculty website www.education.monash.edu for information on the faculty's Graduate Entry Teaching programs.
Entry requirements
Minimum entrance requirements
Applicants must hold an approved three-year bachelors degree in a relevant field with a credit average in the final year; or an approved fourth year of study; or an approved four year bachelors degree; or have qualifications or experience that the faculty considers to be equivalent to, or a satisfactory substitute for the above. Applicants who are not native speakers of English will be required to demonstrate substantial competence in written and spoken English by one of the approved methods before admission.
