Entry requirements

Minimum entrance requirements

Students must have successfully completed an Australian Year 12 program or equivalent. Australian Year 12 applicants are not required to submit a folio.

VCE prerequisites

Units 3 and 4 a study score of at least 30 in English (ESL) or 25 in any other English and a study score of at least 30 in art or studio arts.

International Baccalaureate subject prerequisites

English at a minimum of grade four at standard level. Visual Arts at a minimum of grade five at standard level or grade four at higher level.

VTAC APPLICANTS

Non School Leavers Only

Application Kit: Applicants must download a kit online by 25 September. Applicants can access the kit at Open Day. Telephone requests will not be accepted. Applicants must complete and submit the kit by 9 October.

Interview and folio presentation: Details will be sent to applicants by 9 November. Applicants must attend in November. Advisory letters will be sent to applicants by 14 December.

DIRECT APPLICANTS

International Applicants (Non School Leavers Only)

All applicants must submit a folio of 10-15 images of their work for assessment. Please refer to the Faculty of Art & Design website for futher details.

Local Applicants: All applicants must apply through VTAC. Please refer to the information above.

Semester one (March)

Applications for on campus studies should be made online through the Victorian Tertiary Admissions Centre.

Semester two (July)
