Entry requirements

Minimum entrance requirements

The entry requirement is successful completion of a degree that is the equivalent of an Australian bachelors degree or major in IT such as computing, computer science or a technical information technology field, with completed studies in programming, databases, computer architecture, algorithms and data structures, data communications and system analysis and design.

To be competitive for selection, normally a Pass (50%) average is required. The applicant's entire academic record can be taken into consideration when assessing eligibility for the course.

Selection officers will consider the applicant's range of studies, and can place greater importance on studies which demonstrate ability to progress satisfactorily in an IT degree.

National Office of Overseas Skills Recognition (AEI-NOOSR) guidelines on equivalency to Australian bachelor degrees will apply.
