Why study Master of Maintenance and Reliability Engineering?

With industry demanding that its physical production assets work longer and better, professional asset management has become a powerful need in improving profitability. Studied off-campus, the Master of Maintenance and Reliability Engineering is designed for managers, engineers and technical staff involved in the operation, maintenance and reliability improvement of industrial, public sector or defence systems. Studies include terotechnology and lifecycle costs, asset management and industrial techniques, risk engineering, machine condition monitoring and reliability engineering.

Minimum entrance requirements

Applicants should have a Bachelor of Engineering degree with honours, or have completed the Graduate Diploma in Engineering Maintenance Management with an average result of 65%. In certain circumstances, applicants with a Bachelor of Engineering pass degree or other appropriate degree together with honours-equivalent work experience may be admitted.

Enrolment obligation

International students enrolling in a CRICOS-registered course can study no more than 25% of their course by distance and/or online learning. Students cannot enrol exclusively in distance and/or online learning study in any compulsory study period. See standard 9.4 of The National Code 2007.
