Career opportunities

You can have the best of both worlds with this double degree, by working in the creative arts and practising law at the same time. You will have access to a range of career opportunities such as self-managing entertainer, artist manager, producer and entertainment industry lawyer.

Alternatively, you might choose to focus on one profession above the other, either finding work in the performing arts, or practising law as a barrister or solicitor. The great thing is, with such a broad double degree, you will always have the flexibility to change careers in the future if you choose.

PERFORMANCE

In this study area, students explore a range of different performance areas including production practice and investigation, contemporary performance culture, and performance writing.

THEATRE

Theatre focuses on the past, present and future of performance. It combines theoretical frameworks with the practical study of key themes, questions and practices. Theatre provides students with the ability to think critically, preparing them for a future where theatre and performance increasing cross genres, cultures, geographic boundaries, and modes of artistic expression.
