You'll emerge from this degree with a capacity for strong conceptual thought combined with practical skills that are sought after by the architecture and design industry. As an interior architecture graduate you can adapt heritage buildings for new uses, or design unique objects for theatre sets. You might curate a mix of media and technologies to develop exhibitions or create urban experiences to help communities grow.
You may choose to follow a career path in design for the retail and commercial sectors, domestic interiors, furniture, entertainment industries or the general architectural sector. Other options can include festival and exhibition design, lighting, and set design.

VCE/Year 12/Final year high school qualification -- satisfactory level of performance in an English subject at Year 12 or equivalent level as per minimum entrance requirements.

Non-Year 12: Equivalent to Year 12 English, Application Kit, Interview and folio presentation (short-listed applicants only).
Units 3 and 4-a study score of at least 30 in English (ESL) or 25 in any other English and a minimum ATAR of 70.
A score of at least 4 in English SL or 3 in English HL or 5 in English B SL or 4 in English B HL. A minimum IB score of 25.

VTAC APPLICANTS:
Application Kit: Applicants must download a kit online by 28 September. Applicants can access the kit at Open Day. Telephone requests will not be accepted. Applicants must complete and submit the kit by 8 October.
Interview and folio presentation (short-listed applicants only): Details will be sent to applicants by 19 November. Applicants must attend in November. Advisory letters will be sent to applicants by 17 December.
