Why study Master of Human Resource Management?

Attracting, developing, retaining and rewarding employees is vital to the success of organisations. Human resource management professionals have a central and critical role to play in adding real value to the strategic direction and culture of their organisation.

The Master of Human Resource Management is designed for current and aspiring HR professionals seeking specialist training and development in human resources for career progression. It also caters for professionals who deal with workforce management, industrial relations or other management issues and would like to develop strong capabilities in these areas.

The degree, which is fully-accredited by the national association for human resources professionals, the Australian Human Resources Institute (AHRI), provides high-level development in human resources policy, industrial relations, people management, employment relations and leadership.

International entry requirements

English requirements for international students

Minimum overall test score required is 6.5. The individual band scores required: reading 6.0, listening 6.0, writing 6.0, speaking 6.0, or TOEFL 600 with a TWE of 5, or an internet-based TOEFL score of 100 with 24 plus in writing and no section lower than 20.

Enrolment obligation

International students enrolling in a CRICOS-registered course can study no more than 25% of their course by distance and/or online learning. Students cannot enrol exclusively in distance and/or online learning study in any compulsory study period. See standard 9.4 of The National Code 2007.
