Entry requirements

International entry requirements

International applicants considering Monash University as their preferred study destination must meet both the Academic and English language requirements. Please refer to the postgraduate course guide for international students located at: http://www.monash.edu.au/international or guides are available directly from Monash International.

English requirements for international students

IELTS 6.5 with individual band scores required at 6.5 for Reading, 6.5 for Listening, 6.0 for Writing and 6.0 for Speaking; TOEFL 580 with a TWE score of at least 4.5; Computer-based TOEFL, a minimum score of 237 with an ER of at least 4.5; or an internet-based TOEFL, an overall score of 90 with at least 22 in the written section, and no section lower than 20.
