Why study Bachelor of Medicine and Bachelor of Surgery and Bachelor of Laws?

Monash is the only university in Australia to offer this combined program that allows students to graduate with both the degree of Bachelor of Medicine and Bachelor of Surgery, and the degree of Bachelor of Laws.

The prestigious program was designed to accommodate the growing area of medical law and the need for graduates with a firm grounding in both professions.

Students are able to enter the program only after achieving a credit average in the first year of the Monash medical degree and attending a selection interview.

Entry requirements

VCE prerequisites

Minimum of a credit average in the 1st year of the MBBS program. Applicants will be required to attend an interview.

Applications for this double degree can be made once the applicant has received a place in the Bachelor of Medicine / Bachelor of Surgery program.
