Course overviewThe course is for those who wish to concentrate on the economic, social, organisational and managerial aspects in an engineering career. In the commerce component, students study core units in accounting and finance, business law and taxation, econometrics and business statistics, economics, management and marketing, and a major in one of accounting; Asian development and transition; business law and taxation; competition, regulation and public policy; finance; international commerce; information strategy and decision making; labour and employment; human resource management; management; or marketing. For the engineering major, students can choose from chemical, civil, electrical and computer systems, industrial engineering and engineering management, materials, or mechanical engineering.
