This four-unit course prepares students who have a first degree in another discipline for a professional career in information technology. The first part of the course provides a solid knowledge of the fundamentals in computer systems, programming, information systems and applications of information technology in businesses. Students who successfully complete this course may apply for entry to the Graduate Diploma in Information Technology.
