Master of Business Administration for 2009

Course overview

The MBA is a highly sought-after qualification for those aspiring to a career in senior management. The flexibility of the MBA degree enables participants to tailor the program to suit their individual needs. The Monash MBA comprises 16 units. The 10 core units cover the major business disciplines - business law, economics, accounting, finance, marketing, business analysis, management and leadership, information management, international business and strategic management. Students then have a choice of six elective units. They can either create a specialisation or professional track in an area of interest by taking all electives within the one discipline, or they may choose six electives from different disciplines to create a very broad-based degree. Areas of study include health care management, entrepreneurship, applied finance, commercial law, professional practice management, information technology, international business and many more.
