Honours graduates have special expertise valued by employers and therefore have a competitive advantage in the job market. The honours year also prepares students to undertake higher degrees by research MPhil, PhD.
This one-year, full-time course offers selected students the opportunity to study aspects of their undergraduate major in depth. Bachelor of Economics (Honours) specialisations include econometrics, economics and economics/econometrics.
