Monash University has six Australian campuses, campuses in Malaysia and South Africa, and centres in China, India and Italy.

Australian Locations

Berwick campus

Berwick campus is Monash University's newest Australian campus. Built in Melbourne's fast-growing south-east residential area, it is 40km from Melbourne.

Caulfield Campus

Caulfield campus is Monash University’s second largest campus, nine kilometres
south-east of Melbourne.
It has around 14,000 students and staff.

Clayton campus

Clayton campus has around 26,000 students and is the largest of all eight campuses. It is located 20km south-east of Melbourne.

Gippsland campus

Gippsland campus is the University's only non-metropolitan, located two hours south-east of Melbourne in the friendly town of Churchill.

Parkville campus

The Parkville campus has recently undergone a $50 million redevelopment, which includes new world-class research laboratories and teaching space.

Peninsula campus

Peninsula campus is Monash University's third largest campus. It is about 40km south of Melbourne and has around 3500 students.

International Locations

Monash University has partnered with the Indian Institute of Technology Bombay (IITB) to create a Research Academy in north-eastern Mumbai.

Prato Centre

The Prato Centre in Italy hosts short courses, workshops, seminars and conferences. Existing Monash students can study here as part of their degree.

Graduate school in China

The new Southeast University – Monash University Joint Graduate School (Suzhou) will offer master degrees and PhDs for the 21st century.

South Africa Campus

Monash South Africa Campus aims to educate the future leaders of Africa. We have designed our courses to help the country meet diverse issues.

Sunway Campus

Sunway campus Malaysia is located 18km from central Kuala Lumpur, it has around 5000 students.
