West Houses
Many students expect large dormitories or halls and are genuinely surprised to find that this is not the case at Gippsland. Instead, three-quarters of the student population live in fully-furnished houses (we call them our West Houses), that are not unlike the type of house you would find in the community.
Every occupant has a private bedroom which is provided with a desk, chair, bed and heater. There are six bedrooms in each west house, with residents sharing common facilities of the kitchen, lounge-room, bathroom and laundry with their fellow residents.
Please note that there are NO meals provided in the West Houses, but may be available from the Campus Cafeteria. Cleaning is provided on a weekly basis in the communal areas.
