Halls of Residence and Normanby House

Halls of Residence and Normanby House is co-ed and have their own facilities, including common rooms, lounges, laundry facilities, colour TVs, piano, a large-screen projection TV and video system with surround sound, billiard table, table tennis, computer laboratories and extensive self-catering kitchens.

Student rooms are furnished with a bed, desk, chair, heater and built-in wardrobe. Normanby House rooms also have basins with hot-and-cold running water. All student bedrooms also have private telephone and computer connection points, giving residents 24-hour access to the University computer network.

All bedding is provided. Residents must provide their own towels, and are responsible for making their own beds and cleaning their own rooms. Cleaning personnel are on site seven days per week and are responsible for the cleaning and maintenance of communal areas like bathrooms, toilets, corridors, laundries, kitchens, passageways and the removal of rubbish on a daily basis.

South East Flats

The South East Flats accommodate 114 students in 30 furnished flats ranging from two to five bedrooms.

Each flat is fully furnished with shared common areas including kitchen, bathroom and living/dining areas. All student rooms are fully furnished with private telephone and computer connection points, giving residents 24-hour access to the University network.  Two communal laundries service the South East Flats.
