Cooking and Dining Facilities

Each apartment at the International Mews has a modern equipped kitchen for students to use. The kitchen includes a diswasher, microwave, and refrigerator.

The kitchen is also equipped with basic items of cooking equipment and appliances. The items supplied include: 

• electric toaster, electric rice cooker

It should be noted that the equipment supplied in the kitchen area is very basic and as such Monash Residential Services advises all residents to purchase their own equipment to supplement what is supplied soon after arrival.

Other Facilities

• Ironing board (not the iron)
• Broom, mop, dustpan and brush
• Kitchen rubbish bin
• Vacuum cleaners

Items like bed linen, pillows, blankets, towels, kettle and iron are not provided at the International Mews. Residents are also welcome to bring personal equipment if they wish to do so. Television, video, stereo and a personal computer are examples of some of the items residents might want to bring.
