Getting around Sunway

Travel by taxi is cheap in Malaysia, especially if sharing a ride
The taxi fare from the Monash campus to Sunway Pyramid is a fixed price of RM5 (A$2.10)
Taxis elsewhere run by meter with the rate starting from RM2.
Subang and USJ are alternative hang out venues, accessed by taxi or bus (but you'll need to switch buses!)
