How do you apply to study in Malaysia?
Studying in Malaysia will be one of the greatest experiences of your time at Monash, but it's still a big decision to make. Monash Abroad and your faculty exchange advisers are able to help you through the application process for either a semester length intercampus exchange or the summer school.
1. Decide you want to apply
2. Get an approved study plan
- Do your own research on available units at Sunway – you could include approved electives from other faculties but you need a full-time study load (24 credit points)
- Seek advice from Monash Abroad or your faculty exchange adviser
- Get your study plan approved by your faculty – it can take several weeks
- A limited range of business and economics units and one psychology unit are offered for the Summer School - see the above summer school web pages for details.
3. Submit your application
- Obtain two references to support your application from tutors or lecturers
- Do your financial plan (that includes the incentive package)
- These are not required for Summer School applications
Intercampus exchange applications
- Send your application to Monash Abroad by the deadline for the semester you want to study to Sunway.
