The Faculty of Arts and Sciences at Linkoping University awards two LIU Arts and Sciences Sweden Experience Awards to Australian exchange students each year. One of these awards, the Karel Reus Award is named after the original manager of Monash Abroad and is awarded to a student nominated by Monash, Griffith or La Trobe Universities.
The award is a cash grant of approximately $A3,000 and is paid to the successful student after arrival at Linkoping.
The award is granted once per year. All exchange applicants for Linkoping who apply by the normal Monash Abroad closing date of 31 January each year will be considered. The award can be used in either second semester of that year or first semester the following year.
