GermanyGerman Academic Exchange Service (DAAD) Scholarships
The German Academic Exchange Service (DAAD) grants scholarships annually to highly qualified undergraduate applicants. Monash student to be nominated for these scholarships are selected by the German Studies Program in the School of Languages, Linguistics and Cultures. Further details can be obtained from franz-josef.deiters@arts.monsh.edu.au. Students who are awarded DAAD scholarships are not eligible for a Monash Abroad travel grant. Free University Berlin Scholarships
Free University Berlin, a Monash exchange partner, offers 1-2 scholarships per year to Monash exchange students. The students to receive the scholarship are nominated by Monash Abroad from those who apply to go to Free University Berlin on exchange. No separate application is necessary. Students who are awarded Free University Berlin scholarships are not eligible for a Monash Abroad travel grant. University of Applied Sciences Nuremberg Scholarships
At the University of Applied Sciences Nuremberg, Monash exchange students can apply for subsidies assigned by the Bavarian State Ministry of Science, Research and Art. Eligible candidates have to fulfil the following requirements:
Successful candidates will be allocated a monthly scholarship for the duration of three months (practical semester) or five months (theoretical semester). Once you have been selected as an exchange student by Monash University, contact the International Office at Nurnberg for further information. Baden Wurttemberg Scholarships -- University of Ulm and University of Heidelberg
To promote exchange programs, the Baden-Wurttemberg State Government provides stipends for exchange students going to universities in the state. Monash has two exchange partners in this state, the University of Ulm and the University of Heidelberg. The scholarship includes a monthly stipend for undergraduate or postgraduate study for a period of four to ten months. Students with an above-average academic record interested in study at the University of Ulm can apply to the university. Most courses require a good command of German, but several English programs are offered as well. Students interested in studying at the University of Heidelberg should contact the Monash Abroad office. |
