Hannah Golding talks about her experiences as an exchange student to KTH, The Royal Institute of Technology in Sweden .

What was the best part of your exchange experience?

The best part about my exchange experience was meeting new people from different cultures and backgrounds as well as all the opportunities I was given overseas – it was amazing, great opportunity - and I feel I've developed so much as a person: I'm a lot more confident and a stronger person. I feel like I can do so much more now.

Has the experience changed the way you view the world?

It's made me more other cultures and it's also made me more likely to try new things. I think it was the best thing I've done at Monash University .

What advice would you give to someone considering going on exchange?

The first thing you should do it you are going on exchange is to get your subjects figured out - what you want to do - and find some subjects that match your subjects at Monash University. Then you need to get your application form in and do it as soon as you can. Don't hesitate to go, it doesn't matter where you go, wherever you go you'll have a great time and it will change your life.
