How to apply for short-term programs (2-8 weeks) offered by Monash faculties

Step by step guide

  1. Obtain an international study program application form from the faculty program coordinator for each course. They are not available from the Monash Abroad office.
  2. Complete the application form and submit it to the faculty program coordinator for approval.
  3. The faculty program coordinator will submit your application to the Monash Abroad office.

You will need to submit

  1. International study program application form.
  2. Any other application required by the faculty program coordinator.
  3. One copy of bank statement showing full account details, including account holder's name and BSB number.
  4. One copy of your travel insurance certificate.

Deadlines

Check with the faculty program coordinator.

Hints

  1. Make sure you get your application in by the date specified by the faculty program coordinator so that you can make all the necessary travel arrangements and your travel grant can be paid before you leave.
  2. You must complete a Monash Abroad application even if you are not eligible for a travel grant as Monash Abroad is responsible for keeping track of all Monash students overseas in case of emergencies.
