- The Eastern Palliative Care Essay Prize ($1000) will be awarded to the runner-up of the Eastern Palliative Care Undergraduate Scholarship. Selection of this prize is based on the quality of the essay, not on academic achievement.

Eligibility
All conditions must be met
|
- Australian or New Zealand citizen, or holder of an Australian permanent resident visa or permanent humanitarian visa, or an international student
- Current student enrolled in an undergraduate degree* in the Faculty of Medicine, Nursing and Health Sciences at a Monash campus in Australia
* Includes students enrolled in the graduate entry Bachelor of Medicine/Bachelor of Surgery offered at Gippsland campus.

- Required to submit a report for the donor by 31 July in the year of the award
