Benefits

Total value of $2000 one off payment 

• $2000 one-off payment

• Up to three scholarships are available

• Based on academic achievement, and
• The merit of the proposed work program in the seriously disadvantaged community (as determined by the selection committee), and
• The quality of the written submission, in which students will be expected to demonstrate how the financial assistance of the bursary would assist with the budgeted cost of undertaking the elective

Eligibility

All conditions must be met

• Australian or New Zealand citizen, or holder of an Australian permanent resident visa or permanent humanitarian visa, or an international student
• Current full-time undergraduate student enrolled in the Bachelor of Medicine/Bachelor of Surgery at a Monash campus in Australia
• Undertaking an elective placement in a seriously disadvantaged Australian community or developing country
