Total value of $2000

• $2000 one off payment

• Two scholarships are available

• Based on academic achievement, and
• The merit of the proposed work program in the Ibulanku Community Health Centre (as determined by the selection committee), and
• The quality of the written submission, in which applicants will be expected to demonstrate how the financial assistance of the scholarship would assist with the budgeted cost of undertaking the elective

Eligibility

All conditions must be met

• Australian or New Zealand citizen, or holder of an Australian permanent resident visa or permanent humanitarian visa, or an international student
• Full-time current student enrolled in the final year of the Bachelor of Medicine/Bachelor of Surgery at a Monash campus in Australia
• Undertaking an elective placement at the Ibulanku Community Centre in Uganda.
