Message from Professor Ed Byrne AO – Vice-Chancellor and President

Monash University’s mission is to improve the human condition by advancing knowledge and fostering creativity. Amongst our greatest assets in this undertaking is the energy and insights of our students. Our world faces challenges of a complexity and scale such that solutions will require leadership across many generations, and especially on the part of our young people.

The Ancora Imparo Program seeks to build participants’ leadership capacities by providing opportunities for them to share and test their ideas with other students, Monash staff, distinguished alumni and community leaders.

I hope that the Ancora Imparo experience will help all participants to realise the full measure of their abilities, and equip them to provide leadership that benefits our society and our world.
