Students must attend all eight sessions and the residential to be eligible to graduate from the Program. Extenuating circumstances, e.g. family bereavement or ill health will be accepted.
Yes. Monash College students are eligible for the Program and should apply during their final year at the College.
Part-time students are eligible to apply provided they have completed at least one year (part-time) at Monash. Part-time students who have completed two years part-time at Monash are also eligible to apply.
Please note that there is no income tax exemption for the $500 scholarship payment awarded to part-time students.
No. The Program is only open to students who are currently completing first year subjects. If you are still interested in participating in a leadership program I would recommend that you contact Leadership Victoria for more information.
No. Postgraduate students are ineligible for the Program. However you may be interested in The General Sir John Monash Awards. More information can be found at the Monash awards website.
Exchange students to Monash are eligible for the Program provided they will be at the university next year.
Referees residing outside Australia are acceptable.
Referees will be contacted via email requesting a confidential letter of reference.
No. These letters have been requested in confidence and are therefore not available for dissemination.
Yes. University staff are able to be nominated as referees.
A photocopy of your VCE results or a copy of any available university results will suffice.
No. Applications are not returned. For this reason you should only include copies of any academic transcripts or school results.
Late applications will not be accepted.
