Application process

You should apply for a place in the Ancora Imparo Program during your first year at Monash.

You will be asked to provide narrative answers to several questions relating to your interest in and suitability for the Program. You will also be required to provide details about your background, interests and achievements.

Academic achievement, employment history, involvement in extracurricular activities such as community service, sport, music, drama, public speaking, and fine arts will be considered, as well as evidence of high levels of achievement in these areas.

It is not necessary for you to have previous leadership experience, but you should be able to demonstrate a keen interest in local, national and world events.

Provided you meet the minimum eligibility criteria, Monash will contact the two referees listed on your application form requesting a confidential reference. Please advise them in advance that they may be contacted. Your referees will be responsible for returning their references to Monash.
