Victorian Institute of Chemical Sciences

Victorian Institute of Chemical Science (VICS) is a partnership between the Chemistry Schools at Monash University, the University of Melbourne and the Department of Applied Chemistry at RMIT University. 

Its purpose is to be the leading multi-campus institute in Australia for teaching and research in chemical sciences.  Its critical mass of expertise and resources is recognized internationally for its research quality and breadth, and through opportunities provided by its educational programs.

VICS is initially focussed on four themes:   drug discovery and chemical synthesis, environmental solutions, molecular analysis and dynamics, and chemistry education and outreach.   For further information, visit our website at www.vics.net.au
