Victorian Bioinformatics Consortium

The Victorian Bioinformatics Consortium (VBC) is an initiative of the Victorian State Government.   The core members are Monash University (Faculties of Medicine, Nursing & Health Sciences and Information Technology), CSIRO and Plant Biotechnology Centre of Agriculture Victoria.

VBC brings together more than 70 researchers with advanced expertise in medicine, biotechnological, agricultural, and veterinary research, bioinformatics, statistics and computer science.  The consortium conducts research in bioinformatics and assists the performance of biological research within Australia by both academic and industrial users.   For further information, visit our website at www.vicbioinformatics.com.
