Australian Stem Cell Centre
Australian Stem Cell Centre (ASCC) – the Australian Biotechnology Centre of Excellence – is a major research and development initiative in regenerative medicine. ASCC coordinates synergistic, multidisciplinary programs by uniting Australia's leading academics with industry in the field of stem cell and related research. ASCC's foal is to deliver therapeutic benefits from these programs and foster the growth of the Australian biotechnology industry.
ASCC is building on Australia’s expertise in stem cell and related platform technologies to lay the foundations for delivering stem cell therapies. Revolutionary new approaches resulting from stem cell research will radically improve ways to treat diseases to the benefit of millions of people.
