Australian Government legislation for international students - content requirements

Amendments to the Education Services for Overseas Students (ESOS) Act 2000 include a legally enforceable national code for all registered providers of education programs to international students in Australia. The introduction of the Act coincided with amendments to the Migration Act and Regulations governing student visas.

To comply with the Act, Monash websites must include the university's CRICOS Provider Number in the footer of each page, as shown below.

Ensure the text "CRICOS Provider Number: 00008C" is linked to the CRICOS and Visa information for international students web page.

The standard web templates have been set up with the required CRICOS Provider Number in the footer. To get a copy of the web templates, contact your faculty or divisional web team
