Information Management Governance at Monash University - Part 1
Information Management at Monash exists within a governance structure that includes a published strategy and steering committee.
Many of the recommendations arising from the investigative work in developing the strategy are being addressed. These are monitored and guided by the IM Steering Committee from a strategic perspective and by the Implementation Working Party from a programme management perspective. The programme of activities is captured in the Implementation Plan under four themes.
Key stakeholders are represented on the IM Steering Committee to ensure that the IM vision and the implementation activities guide and deliver benefits to the Monash community.
Information Management at Monash is a truly cross-organisational function and is illustrated in the following two part diagram.
