Aquatics

Operating seven days per week, the Doug Ellis Swimming Pool services both Monash University and local community in a range of recreational, programmed and sporting aquatic activities. Our aquatic facilities include:

• 25m main pool with adjoining leisure pool.
• 25m variable depth pool suitable for a range of water sports.
• spa, sauna and steam room.

At Monash Sport we foster a love for the water. Enjoy the freedom to swim laps or relax in the sauna, spa or steam room. The leisure pool provides a great space for families to love the water too.

If you want an additional challenge, there are plenty of aquatic programs and activities to wet your appetite. Please check the lap lane availability for up to date information on lane space.

The aim of the aquatic team at Monash Sport is that our participants and members learn to love the water as much as we do!

Aquatic pathways are developed by offering a variety of aquatic programs for all abilities including educational, recreational and competitive aquatic activities. Our friendly, experienced and AUSTSWIM qualified staff will engage and empower our participants to reach their potential, developing skills that are for life!

Enjoy unlimited access to the aquatic facilities at the Doug Ellis Swimming Pool by becoming an Aquatic or Centre member at Monash Sport.  Membership allows you to make swimming a regular part of your fitness routine and you will also reap the benefits by relaxing in the sauna, spa or steam room. The Swim Fit program is open to all Aquatic and Centre members and will take your swimming and fitness to the next level.
