Academic transcripts

An academic transcript is a formal record of your academic history at the University.

It includes all unit attempts and your grade for each unit. If you were enrolled in more than one course, it lists all courses and all units studied at Monash.

You will get a free transcript when you graduate.

You can get a copy of your academic record anytime using WES (login) current students

You can buy a copy of your official academic transcript using WES (login) past students

If you attended or completed your course before 1997, allow 10-15 working days for delivery.

Contents of an academic transcript

Student name and ID number
Date of issue
Course and unit titles
Year of study and teaching period
Credit points
Marks and grades
Qualification and graduation dates
Exemptions or credits
Grade point averages (GPA)
Weighted average marks (WAM)

Common uses

Your transcript confirms your progress or your final qualification (when complete).

You can use it to:

Apply for jobs
Support applications for scholarships or further study
Register with government or private bodies
