Interventions and therapies
Human genetics and/or stem cells
Women who are pregnant and the human foetus
People highly dependent on medical care who may be unable to give consent
People with a cognitive impairment, an intellectual disability, or a mental illness
Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islanders
Research intended to study/expose illegal activity
Use of collected human data for a new purpose
Research involving other organisations where MUHREC is the primary HREC
Submission requirements
Four signed identical hardcopies: one (1) original + three (3) double sided photocopies containing the Form and all other documents i.e. explanatory statement, consent form, survey instrument, permission letters, advertisement for project etc.
