All Explanatory Statements should contain the following statement:

When research is conducted offshore, it is recommended that a local person who is also competent in English be nominated to receive any complaints and forward these onto MUHREC. The person should agree to undertake that role and evidence of acceptance should be forwarded to MUHREC.
