Australian Laureate Fellowships scheme targets outstanding researchers of international repute.
The Australian Laureate Fellowships scheme encourages proposals from Australian and non-Australian researchers by providing them with project funding in addition to a salary supplement and salary-related (on-cost) support.
The ARC awards up to 15 Australian Laureate Fellowships for funding commencing in 2010.
Preference is given to researchers "who will play a significant, sustained leadership and mentoring role in building Australia's internationally competitive research capacity."
