Monash Requirements for Electronic Submission of Grant Applications

Increasingly, granting bodies are opting for electronic submission of grant applications. In some cases they also require hard copies, with University endorsement.

The University nevertheless requires that details of all research grants and contracts should be recorded in its research information database. Therefore you will need to send a copy of the submission to the Monash Research Office (MRO).

To do this, please:

  1. Fill out the Monash Research Office Cover Sheet and obtain the appropriate signatures
  2. Complete the Certification of Funding Form (rtf 97kbpdf 24kb) - if any Monash cash contributions are sought
  3. Submit the electronic application.
  4. If the paper copies require university endorsement send them to the Monash Research Office together with the MRO Cover Sheet and the Certification of Funding Form allowing sufficient time for posting to the granting body.
  5. If paper copies are not required please send a copy of the submission to the Monash Research Office with the documents as in 1 and 2.
