Projects & Implications

Some examples of research projects currently underway or planned at the Centre are:

  • Exploring the Connection Between Disclosure by Listed Biotechnology Companies and Share Price Volatility
  • Comparing Australian scientific output and commercialisation outcomes with those in other countries
  • Exploring the relationship between organisational structure, organisational culture, and commercialisation outcomes among Australian firms
  • Examining the connection between patenting and the financial performance of Malaysian companies

These projects share a focus on producing results that will be both academically rigorous and practically relevant. They emphasise producing insight for managers who are faced with important decisions regarding the strategy, leadership, and tactics of their organisation. In most cases, research projects involve collaborators at other institutions in Australia and overseas.
